Project Overview: T. Francis Electrical has been tasked with the electrical installation for a newly constructed farm shed. This project includes the installation of a robust electrical system that accommodates both single-phase and three-phase power requirements. The scope encompasses power supply connections, lighting, a powered door shutter, and a compressor setup, ensuring that the new facility meets the operational needs of the farm efficiently.

Scope of Work:

1. Three-Phase Supply Installation
   • Install a three-phase electrical supply to the new farm shed, ensuring sufficient capacity for all operational equipment.
   • Implement necessary safety features, including circuit protection devices, to protect the electrical system and equipment.
2. Single-Phase and Three-Phase Power Sockets
   • Install a variety of power outlets, including both single-phase and three-phase sockets, strategically positioned throughout the shed for ease of access.
   • Ensure proper labeling and compliance with safety standards for all power outlets.
3. Lighting Installation
   • Install high-quality, energy-efficient lighting throughout the shed to provide adequate illumination for both general and task areas.
   • Implement switches and controls in easily accessible locations to facilitate user-friendly operation.
4. Powered Door Shutter System
   • Install wiring and controls for a powered door shutter system, ensuring safe and reliable operation for ease of access to the shed.
   • Integrate safety features such as sensors to prevent accidents during operation.
5. Compressor Setup
   • Provide the necessary electrical connections for the installation of a compressor, ensuring it is correctly wired for optimal performance.
   • Ensure sufficient power availability for the compressor and any associated pneumatic tools or systems.
6. Circuit Distribution
   • Develop a smart circuit distribution layout to manage the power needs of various equipment and lighting.
   • Include adequate circuit protection measures to safeguard both the shed’s electrical systems and connected equipment.

Deliverables:

• Complete electrical installation for the new farm shed based on the agreed-upon specifications.
• Fully operational three-phase and single-phase power supply outlets.
